Carrie Ritchie has a passion for learning about her clients’ business interests and delivering legal solutions that help them achieve their goals.
She joined the firm in 2021 as an associate in the corporate and commercial group where she assists business clients with a range of matters, including entity formation, drafting and negotiation of commercial agreements, mergers and acquisitions, financing and general corporate governance.
Prior to joining the firm, Carrie practiced for a number of years in a general corporate and real estate firm and most recently operated her own boutique law firm serving clients with corporate and environmental legal issues in the sustainable business and not-for-profit sectors.
Prior to attending law school at the Dalhousie Schulich School of Law (2015), Carrie obtained a Bachelors of Environmental Science (Hons) from Mount Allison University (2010), and a Masters in Environmental Science from UBC (2012). Carrie was called to the bar of Ontario in 2016.
Carrie was raised in rural Nova Scotia on the Bay of Fundy where she spent her summers working as a adventure photographer for a white water rafting outfitter. Outside of the office she enjoys golfing, travel and spending time with her family.
