Profile

Matt joined Macdonald Sager Manis as an associate after his call to the Ontario Bar in 2012.  Matt graduated from McGill University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Arts and received his Juris Doctor from the University of Ottawa in 2011.   In his last year of law school, Matt spent a semester at the University of Aarhus, Denmark. studying international and copyright law.

Matt is a member of the firm’s Real Estate and Corporate Groups.  His Real Estate practice extends to both residential and commercial properties, including acting on purchases, sales and refinancing.  In addition, Matt’s has experience working on business transactions that include debt and equity financing, drafting of corporate agreements including share and asset purchase agreements, shareholder and partnership agreements and other commercial contracts. 

In his spare time Matt enjoys running marathons, travelling around the world and spending time with family and friends.
