ProfileChristine Jonathan is a senior litigation associate in our firm. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 1988. Christine graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1986, and prior to that, she completed an Honours BA at Queen’s University in Kingston, Ontario.
Christine practices in the areas of civil and commercial litigation and employment law. She acts for clients a wide range of commercial matters including issues relating to shareholder disputes, mortgage and loan enforcement, real property and construction disputes, the enforcement of foreign judgments, fraud, and debtor/creditor disputes.
Christine also represents employers and employees in all aspects of employment law including wrongful dismissal and breach of contract cases. She has drafted, negotiated and advised upon numerous executive employment contracts, employment policy handbooks and sexual harassment policies and has advised employers with respect to employment issues arising on the purchase and sale of a business.
